Admiral Sports

Task: Approached by Admiral Sports to create a jersey design that could be used in their online template builder used by soccer teams around the world. The client looked to prioritize a few things with this design, including; original and outside of the box patterns, wearability both on and off the pitch, and overall versatility in use for soccer clubs of all levels. In addition, the client requested that the design has a connection to a personal inspiration or theme to be used as part of the promotional materials for the jersey.

Approach and Rationale: Using inspiration from iconic artists like Van Gogh and Jackson Pollock, I decided to place emphasis on the overall texture/brushstrokes of the design, thus I created a camouflage pattern using a watercolour effect. In order to add more depth and complexity to the design, I incorporated a subtle geometric pattern to parts of the jersey.
